Description

This Dresser 550 wheeled log loader is offered for parts only — not as a running machine. The unit carries a front log grapple on a wheeled chassis with an enclosed operator cab, typical of 1970s–1980s pulpwood and sawmill yard work. Dresser 550 loaders were common in eastern Canadian logging yards. Even as a parts donor, value remains in the grapple and boom hydraulics, axles and differentials, engine and transmission cores, cab components, and structural steel — depending what is still on the machine and what the buyer needs. Photos show outdoor storage wear: surface rust, faded paint, and an open engine compartment side. The front tire shows heavy tread wear.
